Dr. Symphonie Smith is an AAMFT approved supervisor and therefore approved to supervise trainees from any COAMFTE accredited program.

Guidelines for COAMFTE accredited programs will be upheld regarding required hours, evaluation, assessment, etc.

Dr. Smith uses an intergenerational supervision style, paired with multicultural awareness and intersectionality. Supervisees must be open to exploring themselves and their clients accordingly.

$150.00 per 60-min. individual (up to 2 trainees) supervision session (virtual).

1. Email Resume/CV, 3 references (Names and contact information) and syllabus (if applicable) to admin@personalspacetherapy.net with the subject line: “Supervision Inquiry”

2. Participate in a virtual interview with Dr. Smith to assess need and fit.

3. Given good fit, review and sign supervision contract and related paperwork.

4. Provide Dr. Smith with any supportive paperwork from clinical site/employer.
